Cereal or cookie cardboards and six millimeter foams will also be needed to make the doll shoes. Glue is also necessary and a glue stick that will help when placing the glue and it is important to use them sparingly so as not to create unwanted residues in the shoes. Rubber cement can also be used in place of normal glue but you need to be cautious using the rubber cement because inhaling it can cause some effects. To cut and make holes on the materials, scissors and hobby knives as well as a leather puncher will be needed. Ribbon and poly cord shoelaces can be used.
The first step is to cut all the pattern pieces including cardboard, vinyl, and foam into desired size and width. The second step involves making holes in the uppers which are easier when a leather punch is used to do this. Thirdly, take the vinyl and cardboard soles and apply glue to hold them together while ascertaining they are firmly glued.
